This is a romantic comedy, 16 episodes, starring Jang Nara, Yoo Da In, Yoo In Na, and Seo In Young. I noticed that there has been a lot of dramas lately about divorce, and how it’s not the end of the world (and it really isn’t). I’m going to start off by saying that this drama isn’t for everyone; my guess is that this drama was made more for the older viewers (I mean younger viewers will also enjoy it, but the story can get kind of slow). With that out of the way, I REALLY LIKED THIS DRAMA! It was filled with amazing actors and actresses (this may or may not be their best drama or what they’re going to be known for, but I still liked it). I liked the different story lines (Nara – trying to heal her broken heart and find a loyal type of love again, Da In – trying to fix her relationship with her husband and then having to go through a life changing situation, In Na – trying to find a boyfriend, In Young – trying to adjust to her marriage life). My favorite character in this drama would have to be In Young’s character, Hong Ae Ran, because she wasn’t really head-over-hills for her fiancé/husband and she just really want to enjoy her single life (this is the main reason why she was having problems with her marriage/relationship). My least favorite character in this drama would have to be In Na’s character, Go Dong Mi, because I felt like she was really desperate about the whole finding a boyfriend issue (although I understand that in this drama she was getting old and she was worried that she might NEVER find someone, and that can be a scary thought). There are four different storylines in this drama, but the main storyline centers around Jang Nara and Jung Kyung Ho’s characters (Han Mi Mo and Song Soo Hyuk). And of course we can’t forget about the bromance theme that has been going on in the kdrama world!!! The bromance between Song Soo Hyuk and Goo Hae Joon (played by Kwon Yool) was extremely adorable! Soo Hyuk was basically the “wifey” in their relationship.
Anyway, in any kind of romantic drama there HAS to be a love triangle right? So what makes a better love triangle than Han Mi Mo, Goo Hae Joon, and Song Soo Hyuk. Two best friends (Hae Joon and Soo Hyuk) in love with the same girl and risking their friendship for the girl. From the beginning you can tell that Soo Hyuk liked Mi Mo since forever (they knew each other in elementary school; they were in a play together and soo hyuk was Romeo while mi mo was Juliet), but he wasn’t faithful about his feelings until episode 8ish. It’s funny because before Hae Joon started dating Mi Mo he asked Soo Hyuk if he liked her and if it’s going to become complicated if he (as in Hae joon) dated Mi Mo.
There was also a lot of aegyo in this drama. The best aegyo came from Jung Kyung Ho’s character. Overall, I felt like this drama was interesting and I would watch all the aegyo and bromance scenes again because Jung Kyung Ho did a great job with his part. All the endings to the stories were happy and everyone fixed their problem (But….Hae Joon’s story line was kind of neglected at the end because he didn’t end up with anyone, he just realized that he isn’t really ‘boyfriend’ material).
